It is often possible that a yeast depot can be formed in the bottleneck. This happens if it has been bottled freshly or if the cooling has started too early. This is a quality feature for freshness and it will be dissolved in the further course of fermentation.
This partially fermented grape must is at the beginning slightly cloudy and sweet. In the fermentation Federweißer is cloudy, sparkling and semisweet and in the maturity cloudy, herb and almost fermented.
